Dr. Daniel “Dan” Paavola, a devoted pastor, professor, and church leader, who passed away following a motorcycle accident on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. His passing has left family, friends, colleagues, and congregants struggling to come to terms with the loss of a man whose life was marked by faith, service, and deep compassion.
Paavola served for many years as a professor at Concordia University Wisconsin, where he was admired not only for his scholarship but for his pastoral heart. His teaching, mentorship, and guidance impacted countless students, inspiring them to integrate faith and learning in meaningful ways.
