Dr. Daniel “Dan” Paavola, a devoted pastor, professor, and church leader, who passed away following a motorcycle accident on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. His passing has left family, friends, colleagues, and congregants struggling to come to terms with the loss of a man whose life was marked by faith, service, and deep compassion.

Paavola served for many years as a professor at Concordia University Wisconsin, where he was admired not only for his scholarship but for his pastoral heart.
